The Castle Hotel Wetherspoon - Ruthin

We got a big-sized and budget-friendly king room with a comfy bed as an upgrade. The location was marvelous and particularly good, especially in one of the public areas.

Quirky hotel in an unbeatable location, has lovely views of the mountains. The rooms are cheap and tidy, with an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. Great restaurant, well presented food, people working here are polite.

The atmosphere created was family. I stayed here before, always exceptional and brilliant rooms with a bath. The breakfast offered a huge variety of cheap meals.

The setting was awful.

Great location up on The Hill with a market and shops nearby that you can easily walk to 🏞️.

The Castle Hotel Wetherspoon in Ruthin is a lovely old and quaint place to stay. The staff, from reception to housekeepers, are efficient and helpful.- The queen room is well-equipped with amenities such as a hair dryer, tea, coffee, and an iron.- The hotel's location in the town square is particularly good.

The staff here was friendly and understanding, and my family room had an amazing view of the town and hills.

The location was gorgeous and very convenient, close to public transport, most areas, pubs, and nice restaurants. The hotel was just a short stroll away from an Anglican parish church.

The room was really nice and clean, and the bathroom was also tidy and had a bathtub.

We really enjoyed the way our family queen room was arranged with disability access. The pub offered fine ales. The hotel's central location next to the bar/restaurant was fantastic. Denbigh, which is less than 20 minutes away, and the big island were easily accessible.

The queen room was great, and the facilities were just what we needed.

The food here is affordable and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service, making it a great spot for celebrating the new year.

The building and rooms are nice with good facilities; they also offer a large and exemplary breakfast with options for every taste.

The location is fantastic, close to town, with beautiful rooms and restaurant areas, and just a 5-minute walk from an Anglican parish church.

Convenient location in the city center, just a short walk from the Ruthin Art Trail 🚶.

The staff here is exceptional, from the front desk to the housekeepers, and the rooms are spacious and well-lit, with convenient amenities like an iron and electronic key card.
